On May 25, 210, Memorial Day, Nautilus Records release "Heroes Never Die". The single, out this Memorial Day weekend, pays tribute and honors the fallen American soldiers.
Kirsten Haglund graced the song with her angelic vocals. Taking a page from her reign as Miss America, Kristen’s vocals help create a patriotic infused pop single that is a tribute to all soldiers.
On October 27, 2010, Kirsten Haglund announces the release of her debut EP, "American Pride", a song that delivers a message of modern patriotism. Inspired by her grandfather, who served in WWII and her father, a former member of the United States Air Force and the Army Reserve, Kirsten Haglund seeks to inspire her own generation with a renewed enthusiasm for the U.S. The songs of American Pride seek to transform the negative connotation associated with nationalism and revitalize patriotism.
On December 1, 2012, we released the single "True Joy Of Christmas" beautiful song just in time for the Christmas Holidays reflecting the joyous time of Jesus Christ Birth, greeting him for giving his life with sacrifice for us, a plan that reconciles us back to our loving Father God.
On October 23, 2013 we released the First Christmas Album from Kirsten Haglund, "True Joy of Christmas" to let’s arise with joy in our hearts and share it with everyone the meaning of Christmas that will always be a appreciation of the birth of Jesus – God’s son.
Kirsten hopes her music will remind her generation of the rugged individualism that gives American citizens the will and strength to make a positive impact on the world.
Kirsten Haglund Miss America 2008
Haglund went on to represent Michigan in the Miss America 2008 pageant broadcast on TLC . She won a preliminary swimsuit award on that night, becoming her state's first Preliminary Swimsuit award since 1987. For her talent she sang "Over the Rainbow". At the conclusion of the live telecast, Haglund was crowned the 83rd Miss America.
During her first week as Miss America, Haglund appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly, ABC News Now, Inside Edition and Fox and Friends.
During that time, she served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network, spokesperson for the Zerosmoke © Company. Haglund was named spokesperson of IHOP's third annual National Pancake Day.
During the time that she was Miss America 2008, she was honored to work extensively with our Armed Forces and the USO; laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and visiting our wounded warriors at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital.

In February of 2009 she founded her foundation whose mission is to fundraise to provide treatment scholarships to assist families and individuals battling eating disorders.
She is a tireless advocate for increased awareness of Eating Disorders as a public health priority. On behalf of this cause, she made guest speaking appearances at Harvard University, the National Press Club in Washington D.C., and for the United States Congress while lobbying with the Eating Disorders Coalition for Mental Health Parity and the FREED Bill.
